01. INTERPRETING FOR THE 14TH ASEM FOREIGN MINISTERS’ MEETING (ASEMFMM14)

We were responsible for providing the interpreting service for the event, with 21 conference interpreters covering seven language combinations: Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese, having English as lingua franca. This ministers meeting that took place in December 2019 brought together the foreign ministers of 53 European and Asian member countries of ASEM. Some of the speakers include His Majesty The King, Felipe VI, the President of the Government of Spain, Mr. Pedro Sánchez and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Mr. Josep Borrell.
